Activating PayPal Checkout

Overview

Before you begin: You will need to be on PinnacleCart version 3.9.0R5 to activate PayPal Checkout.

PayPal Checkout is a global payments solution that will allow you to accept PayPal, PayPal Credit, Venmo (US only), local payment methods, and credit/debit cards in 50+ markets. With this new integration you can automatically show your customers relevant payment options designed to help drive sales.

Activating PayPal Checkout.

• In your PinnacleCart control panel, go to Settings >> Payment and taxes >> Payment methods.
• On the right side of the PayPal box, you will see an "Inactive" box with a 'Click to Activate" button. If you already have a PayPal business account, go ahead and click it. If you DO NOT have a PayPal business account, Click the "Get Started" button below the PayPal logo and follow the steps necessary to acquire an account with PayPal.

• A PayPal lightbox will appear. Enter in your current PayPal account information and complete the steps necessary to activate PayPal Checkout.
