Creating Your Amazon Sellers Account
- Create an account with Amazon Seller here.
- After you register, you will then want to add your products by clicking on the inventory link on their portal site.
Note: Once here you have an option to either upload a single product or a CSV. You can get this file when you activate your Amazon Seller app within the admin of the cart as per the directions below.
Activating the Amazon App in the Cart and Exporting Products
- In your Admin area, go to Apps.
- Click App Center on the right.
- Scroll down and find Amazon Seller.
- Click Amazon Seller and click the "Enable" button found in the upper right corner.
How to Export Products to Amazon
Once you have enabled Amazon Seller, it will appear on the Active Apps page.
- In your Admin area, go to Apps.
- Click Amazon Seller.
- Select the product category and the maximum number of products that you want to export.
- Click Export.
- Save the downloaded file for upload. (You can upload it as CSV)
After you create and upload your products you can monitor the status of your products. This will inform you whether the upload failed or was successful.
Note: If you chose CSV for the first time, which is what most customers will use, you may want to create an XML for the products. For the XML file, you can refer to Google Merchant to get this.
Currently, there is no automatic feed available.
