General Information: 


If you are using any of the following payment processors, you will still need to set up a gateway account in order to integrate with your Revel POS. USAePay can be used as that gateway.

  • Merchant - e - Solutions
  • Vantiv (Tandem)
  • Paymentech
  • Heartland
  • TSYS


The fees to have Revel set up an account with USAePay are noted below:


  • $0.06 per transaction
  • $15.00 per month for merchants with fewer than 50 transactions per month


(Please note: these fees do not include applicable payment processor fees.)


Though some processors may be able to set up the USAePay account for you, Revel recommends that you allow us to do so, as it allows us access to troubleshoot any issues and update processor/VAR information.


Setting up procedure:


To have Revel set up a new USAePay account, please send the information to paymentprocessing@revelsystems.com. If you already have a USAePay account, please proceed to step 4.


Please send the following to paymentprocessing@revelsystems.com:



  • Revel URL
  • Establishment number
    VAR sheet 
  • Your encrypted bank information. You can use this link to encrypt – just input your bank name, account number, and routing number (any format is fine), press Encrypt, then paste the generated code in your email. For more information regarding how to use and access your USAePay portal, please click here.


Enabling USAePAy, kindly follow these steps


1 Go to Settings > Payment Methods

2 Click on Add Payment option

3 Select USAepay option

4 Please note that card swipes. If your payment processor or other third party already set up a USAePay account for you, please send the following (from your existing USAePay account) to paymentprocessing@revelsystems.com.



  • Source Name
  • Source Key
  • PIN

This are specifically encrypted to only work with one gateway. Please make sure your card swipes are encrypted for USAePay.

Hit the Activate button to update the record. That's about it! You can go in and add your Key and Pin credentials, or edit other info.
