Credit Card Security Codes

The credit card Security Code, also known as the Bank Code or the Card Identification Number (CIN), is an uncommon security code found in American Express, Diner's Club, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa. By requiring the Security Code to be entered with the client's Mastercard, you can confirm that the request is done by the cardholder. The Security Code also offers insurance to the cardholder. The Card Identification Number (CID) isn't raised, so they are not checked into standard Visa readers. In principle, these numbers are just noticeable to the cardholder.

American Express

Search for the 4-digit code imprinted on the front of your card and to the other side of your fundamental Visa number. This 4-digit code is the Visa Security Code.

MasterCard

Flip your card over and take a look at the marked box. You should see a 16-digit Mastercard number after an exceptional 3-digit code. This 3-digit code is the Mastercard Security Code.

Visa

Flip your card over and take a look at the marked box. You should see a 16-digit charge card number after an exceptional 3-digit code. This 3-digit code is the Visa Security Code.

Discover

Flip your card over and look at the marked box. You should see a 16-digit Visa number after an exceptional 3-digit code. This 3-digit code is Mastercard Security Code, similar to VISA and MasterCard Plus.
