Additions



  • Product level shipping is back! You can now setup fixed custom rates for shipping individual products inside of PinnacleCart 3.8! This time around, you can now set up multiple product level rates rather than just one! More details found here: Multi-Shipping and How it Works (Individual Product Shipping)
  • Norton Shopping Guarantee has been added as a plugin into PinnacleCart. To find out more about the site seal, check out https://www.nortonshoppingguarantee.com/. More details found here: Norton Shopping Guarantee
  • Product overview has been added back to the cart for use in both product templates and seo optimization
  • Transitioned the PinnacleCart software to use PDO extensions. This may not mean much to the average user, but for you developers out there this is a big deal!
  • Admins can now reset a registered users password via the admin area.

 


Removal


Usage of hosts/statistics/referrers tables has been removed and dropped. These tables really were storing data that is better collected by using Google Analytics or other analytics platforms so we dropped them in interest of performance and long term data storage.
