How to Change Your Site Title.


Go to  Marketing > Search Engine Optimization.


Adjust the text in Default Site Title and then hit ‘Save’ in the top right of the content area.


The Site Title is what shows up in search results and at the top of your browser tab.


How to Change Your Default Meta Description.


Go to  Marketing > Search Engine Optimization.


Adjust the text in Default Meta Description and then hit ‘Save’ in the top right of the content area.



How to Add Additional Code to Your .htaccess File.


Go to  Marketing > Search Engine Optimization


Add your additional htaccess content to the text area called  .htaccess Overrides, you may have to scroll down a bit to see this field.  Once you have added in your new rules, hit ‘Save’ in the top right of the content area.

How to change your Robots.txt file.


Go to  Marketing > Search Engine Optimization


Add your additional robots.txt content to the text area called  robots.txt , you may have to scroll down a bit to see this field.  Once you have added in your new rules, hit ‘Save’ in the top right of the content area.

  • Enable search engine friendly URLs – This setting allows you to have cleaner urls like /productname.html instead of /index.php?p=product&pid=23 . It is highly recommended you keep this on.
  • Use lowercase letters in URLs – This setting forces all url to be lowercase in the event you have pages with capitol letters in the names
  • Enable meta title and description auto generation – Automatically generates meta information based on the content of the page.


How to adjust the meta information for your text pages.


Go to  Marketing > Search Engine Optimization


Scroll down towards the bottom and you should see your text pages listed. Click on the text page name and adjust the fields accordingly.  Once done, click on Save in the top right of the content area.
