How to Initially Setup Google Tag Manager
The first thing you'll want to do is set up a Google account if you don't have one. This would be the same account you'd use for your Gmail, Analytics, and Adwords. If you don't have one, you can go to Google.com to create one by clicking the Sign In button at the top right.
Step 1
Once you've created the account, go to https://www.google.com/analytics/tag-manager/ and click Sign in to Tag Manager at the top right. Then, click the Create Account button. Fill up all the necessary details first so that you can go ahead and click the Create button.
Note: For Container Setup, enter your website's domain name in the Container name field. Select Web for the Target platform.
Step 2
Select your language, read the Google Tag Manager Terms of Service Agreement, and click Yes if you agree.
Step 3
This next part is very important. Copy the code from the text field on the Install Google Tag Manager page. You will need this code to add it to your PinnacleCart store. See How to Get Google Tag Manager working with PinnacleCart for the next steps.
