How to Add SumoMe Into PinnacleCart.

    1. Start by going to https://sumome.com/ and enter your site's URL. 

    2. Click Let's Go!

    3. Fill out the required information to complete the process.

    4. You will be redirected to this page where you are provided a snippet of the JavaScript. Click in this text box so that it copies the code to your clipboard.

Next, open up a text editor like Notepad++ and copy the code into it. Go to File > Save As and save it as an HTML file named element-custom-head.html and save it somewhere on your hard-drive, likely your desktop.


Now you need to upload the file to your website. Go to your cart's admin area, and go to Settings > Advanced Settings > File Manager. See File Manager for a guide on how to use this.


Navigate to the following folder: content/skins/(The Skin You Have Enabled)/templates/wrappers/elements


Click Upload File, locate the file you just saved to your computer above, and upload it.


Note: If you already have the file element-custom-head.html located in your skin, just edit the existing file and add the SumoMe JS code to the bottom of it.


Now, you will need to regenerate your theme cache. Go to Design > Cart Designer. You can now exit Cart Designer and click the Eye icon  to view the front page of your website.


You should now see a blue text on your site which says "Click here to setup SumoMe (only you can see this)". Click this.

Here, you will create an account. Enter your Email, Password, and confirm it.

That's it! You're now signed up. From here, click the Sumo Store button to start adding the Sumo apps.

As you start adding apps, they will just start working on your site. For example, adding Google Analytics will immediately start Analytics. We added the List Builder, and a Newsletter signup pop-up was instantly available on my website. Play with the different apps to see what works for you.
